Aim for Oxford

We are delighted to announce that Year 12 students Sam Ford, Adil Hussein, Abbie Swallow, Jack Stead and Neive Howat have all been accepted to participate in the ‘Aim for Oxford’ programme. Aim for Oxford is a two-year-long programme, which supports over 50 high-achieving state school students from the beginning of Year 12, through making strong applications for, and then arriving at, Oxford. In 2019-20, 37% …

Molecular Modelling

Mrs Teasdale’s Year 12 Biology class are studying biological molecules. After their live lesson on nucleic acids, they were asked to find some things at home to make a model of DNA with. They were very resourceful and came up with some fantastic ways of representing DNA and its nucleotides.

Exploring French Cinema

Year 12 and 13 French students took part in a special virtual online lecture for A-Level students from the British Film Institute (BFI) in London.
