It was another successful year for academic performance and progression, we are very proud of the students’ achievements and, as ever, it is great to see all their hard work and commitment rewarded.
2021 Outcomes & Destinations
STEM based courses and Business courses are currently amongst the most competitive courses. 4 of our students are heading to study Business courses and 23 to courses in STEM areas including Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Science, Computer Science and Physics.
In addition to the destinations above, the courses chosen by our students are representative of the diversity of interests that our students hold, with other members of the year group progressing to courses including Clinical Psychology, Interior Architecture, Dietetics, Art History, Speech and Language and Accounting and Finance.
Academic Achievement
- 100% pass rate at A-Level
- Average grade per entry of grade B
In 2021
- Over 75% of our students made significant levels of progress
- Over 83% of students gained a Level 4 or Level 5 in GCSE Maths resist.

- 86% of students in Year 13 progressed on to higher education.
- Over 40% of those going to University gained a place at a Russell Group University.
- 3 students are starting Medicine courses (Edinburgh, Newcastle, Sunderland)
