Oxploring Big Questions

Our Aspiring Scholars in Year 10 attended a welcome event with Oxford University focusing on answering ‘Big Questions’ with Oxplore. They discussed whether footballers should be paid more than nurses which culminated in a final debate on the topic of whether a universal wage should be set for everybody. Applications to become a full Scholar are still open …

Joining the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning

The bake-off came to Southmoor with sixth form students hosting a Macmillan Coffee Morning joining thousands of other businesses and organisations across the UK in peddling a selection of tasty treats in aid of this fantastic charity. Well done!
