Our Aspiring Scholars in Year 10 attended a welcome event with Oxford University focusing on answering ‘Big Questions’ with Oxplore. They discussed whether footballers should be paid more than nurses which culminated in a final debate on the topic of whether a universal wage should be set for everybody. Applications to become a full Scholar are still open – submissions are welcome until 4th October.
Year 13 students aspiring to apply to Oxbridge attended a workshop to support their application process. They learned how to fine-tune their personal statements with what admission tutors are looking for.
