Year 13 students arrived back after the Easter break to begin their final term in school – ever! What a great bunch we have had this year and we will miss each and every one of them. In the meantime preparations are underway to make this final term one that catapults them onto success in later life and one that holds memories to stick with them for years to come.
To help prepare those going off to university in September, students have been receiving ‘Uni Preparation Packs’ put together by the Sixth Form to aid their transition from school and onto Further Education. There are also sessions lined up to help with student finance and budgeting as well as the sixth form team being on hand to answer any questions or concerns the students may have about this transition.
Further to this, plans continue for a year books and leavers hoodies, an end of year party and lots of other means of celebrating the seven years that many have enjoyed with us at Southmoor.
