Fine Artists Search for Inspiration

Our Fine Artists visited the ‘Enchanted Interiors’ exhibition at the Laing Art Gallery in Newcastle along with three exhibitions at the Baltic Gallery for Contemporary Art in Gateshead. The exhibitions were very diverse and dealt with different issues, challenging pupils to form their own judgments and opinions about the art.

Successful OxNet applicants attended their first Study Day at Ushaw College in Durham with Dr Peter Claus and Professor Giles Gasper. Interview Workshop

Representatives from Teesside University kindly ran an interview workshop for Year 13 students preparing for university interviews. Students learned techniques for how to sell themselves and had the chance to practice general questions.
