Dr Katharine A. M. Wright, Newcastle University Senior Lecturer in International Politics spoke to the year 13 geography students about the role of NATO and the UN to support students understanding on intergovernmental organizations in their A Level Geography course. They leant of the role of both organizations in conflicts such as the Ukraine and in Iraq and Afghanistan. They also learnt about the opportunities to combine studying geography with international relationartions and politics at Newcastle University.
