On Wednesday morning we launched the Year 12 Work Experience programme. Year 12 all have the opportunity to take part in a week’s Work Experience in July during the final week of this academic year. Work Experience is a great opportunity for students to learn about the world of work, apply what they are learning in school to real world situations, gain experience for future applications and to develop key employability skills. It is expected that all Year 12 engage in a work placement. Students will research their own placements and the Careers team in school will contact some organisations to generate vacancies.
The process this year is being managed online through our new Unifrog Careers management platform. There are no paper forms to complete as all applications are now completed online. Students will need their Unifrog login details and this letter gives more information about the process.
All information about Work Experience can be found in the dedicated pages on our school website.
