Sports Ambassadors Begin Training

Our 12 Sports Ambassadors from year 12 and 13 have begun their training, as they look ahead to the Winter Term when they will be running various sports initiatives across the school. This training constitutes a Level 3 qualification in Community Sports Leadership and will give our ambassadors 12 UCAS points and wealth of experience to support future applications. This qualification is the first of many that the students can complete throughout their life times to enable them to lead sports events in any organisation, to any people group. The course consists of three theory units and three practical units, covering the basics of health and safety, teaching sports and planning effective and inclusive programs to bring about physical and Psychological benefits to participants. If students wish to find out more, it is not too late to get involved!
