We have launched our Sixth Form Christmas appeal; supporting two charities. The Salvation Army – we have created a ‘reverse advent calendar’, each form is given a specific item of tinned food or hygiene product for their students to bring in which The Salvation Army will give to families in Sunderland who are struggling this time of year. We are also asking students to donate any new or nearly new items such as toys, books, games, clothes, unwanted toiletry sets etc and these will be donated to Love, Amelia a local charity based in Hendon which will support families within our community. And it doesn’t stop there – we will also be running some craft sessions for students who would like to add a personal touch and make something for donation.
