We’re proud to say that Year 12 student, Matilda Barry, has recently become the first Youth Ambassador for hydro-engineering company Clean Water Wave. Matilda has written an excellent blog to introduce herself and will be releasing a weekly blog to give updates on the various issues of clean water access in the developing world, engineering innovations to address global problems and global warming. Matilda’s work is born from a passion to see young people taking action on some of the most pressing issues of our time and within this role she will be empowering, educating and recruiting other young people to adopt that passion and work for real change.
This is a fantastic opportunity and we cannot wait to see where it will lead Matilda in weeks, months and years to come! A huge well done from all at Sixth Form! We love to see our students taking a real interest in the world around them and gaining experience beyond the classroom just like Matilda.
