Last week we saw a variety of creative fundraising ideas unleashed with the help of our Sixth Form Council as part of ‘Raising and Giving Week’ in support of three local charities. From the classic sweets in the jar game, bake sales, competitions, car washing, waxing, henna, keepy-up challenges and the ever-popular opportunity to pelt teachers with wet sponges, we saw so much kindness and enthusiasm from our students across every year group to raise money for a worthy cause. This all cumulated in a ‘Wear Red for Red Sky’ day where we encouraged students to donate money in order to wear a piece of red with their uniform in support of Red Sky Foundation who once again joined us in school to show their gratitude.
