Sixth Form students have been presenting their Extended Personal Projects to our Raising Aspirations Coordinator, Miss Ungley. The qualification allows students to pursue a topic they are passionate about then present to a panel for professional feedback. There has been a fantastic variety of projects including: A series of short stories based on David Attenborough’s ‘Seven Worlds One Planet’; an essay entitled: ‘To what extent do horses understand humans?’; A video game exploring the concept of fully automated luxury communism; A podcast series looking at influential women and an evaluation of using gut microbiota as a treatment for obesity.
