Students recently had the chance to visit the Jodrell Bank Discovery Centre to learn about important research into astro physics and cosmology. The visit included a tour of the facility (operated by the University of Manchester) which included the impressive Lovell Telescope which is the third largest steerable radio telescope in the world!
