We hosted the long-awaited return of our annual Southmoor Careers Fair. We were delighted that so many further education, higher education, training providers and employers were able to attend the event and spend the day talking to students in Years 8 to 13 about their future plans. It provided the opportunity for students to explore different pathways as they moved around the different stands to ask questions to all our visitors. We believe that it is so important that our students have the opportunity to speak to providers from outside of school who can answer their questions and to broaden their horizons. We also set our students with a competition so they could speak to as many visitors as possible to find out key information about each provider. A huge congratulations to Eguono Aghahowa in Year 8 who wins an Amazon Echo Dot and to Ellis Metcalfe (Year 11), Jessica Magog (Year 10) and Faith Napo (Year 9) who all win £10 Amazon gift vouchers.
