Academic Record & Progression

It was another successful year for academic performance and progression, we are very proud of the students’ achievements and, as ever, it is great to see all their hard work and commitment rewarded.

2025 Outcomes

Our students achieved a 100% pass rate and over 80% of students secured A* – C grades in their subjects. There have been many happy faces and our students have some very exciting future destinations.

Our students are now heading to some truly amazing destinations at the UK’s top universities to embark on studying a wonderful variety of subjects including: Law, Pharmacy, Psychology, Sports Journalism, nursing and primary education.

  • 88% of our students have gone on to university this year
    100% of students who applied for university received an offer
  • Level 3 value added of 0.51
  • 100% pass rate at A level and level 3 vocational subjects
  • Over 80% of our students achieved A*-C
  • 92% of our SEND students achieved grade A*-C
  • 77% of our disadvantaged students achieved grade A*-C

2025 Destinations

Our students have secured some fantastic destinations.

Several of our students have been successful in achieving their offers for Newcastle university and they have chosen a diverse range of courses. These students include Robyn Conlin andRachel Cowell who will be studying Psychology, Eve Hodgson who will be studying History, Michael Jones who will be studying Computer Science and Zara Hussain who will be studying Chemistry.

Some of our students have chosen courses with direct links to their future career pathways. These students include Anisa Parveen who will study Occupational Therapy, Joe Willis, Leiarna Middlemiss and Maame Boadi who have secured Pharmacy courses, Rosemary Ibekwe who will study Mental Health Nursing and Lillie Lavelle who will study Social Work.

Furthermore, a number of students have secured Primary Education courses including Grace Beattie, Kate Blakie, Benjamin Bewick and Olivia Johnson. Nathanael Cameron, Rio Faulkner and Kian Dalzell have all secured places at Durham to study Law, Psychology and Geography.

Anisha Chan will be studying Human Psychology at Leeds and Joseph Tipling is going to Manchester to study Geography. Emma Davies, Jacob Hauxwell and Olivia Steele are all going to York, with Emma studying Psychology, Jacob studying History and Olivia studying Sociology with Social Psychology.
