Our Tin Appeal for 2023 came to a conclusion on last term, where the final total was counted, and nearly 2500 tins have been collected this year. Our Sixth Form helped to distribute all of the tins to various locations around the city including the Salvation Army in Southwick, St Mary’s Church on Bridge Street, and, for the first time this year, Back on the Map in Hendon.
In each year group, the form groups who collected the most Tins were: 7JC, 8LH, 9LN, 10CW, 11JS and 12AG. The tins were used by these local organisations to ensure that as many people as possible received a hot meal over the Christmas period. We would like to thank the whole school community for their generosity.
