At The Sixth Form we are always investing in new technology to keep up with quickly moving trends in industry and employment. Our most recent investment comes in the form of a 3D Printer to support the engineering and physics pathways available to students in the Sixth Form. By using specialist computer programs students can design their own products or parts for an engineering task, before uploading them to the printer which will instantly begin to ‘print’ their part with plastic ink. Our most recent product is a large yellow piggy bank! We better get saving those pennies to purchase our next piece of kit!
