Year 12 Geography students visited The Ouseburne Valley in Newcastle. Students enjoyed a guided tour to learn about how the area has changed over time as well as its recent regeneration. Students were also given the opportunity to practice field work techniques which they can apply to their Independent Investigation (an important part of the A Level course, worth 20% of their final grade). Soon they will learn physical field work techniques and study contrasting coastal management at Bambrough and Blythe beaches.
