The Sixth Form at Southmoor has had another year of fantastic results – with a third of our grades at A/A*, 71% at A*-C, an increasing number of students gaining AAB including at least 2 facilitating subjects, and 100% A*-C in Maths, English Language, English Literature, Drama, Fine Art and Photography.
But for us it’s all about destinations.
With our first student heading off to medical school on straight A* grades, four more with places at Durham and others going to universities from Manchester to Wayne State University in Detroit, the Sixth Form at Southmoor continues to place our students in some of the most prestigious institutions in this country and beyond. In particular, well done to those on the Health and Social Care course, who all scored A/A* and many of whom are already studying to become nurses, counsellors and other medical professionals. Congratulations to all of those who will be leaving us, whether to university, gap years, or even the RAF – it is great to know that we have played our part in creating a new generation of medics, nurses, linguistics, biologists, pharmacists and historians.
Some of our success stories from today…
