A Level Results Day 2026

Celebrating our Class of 2026

Staff and students at Southmoor Academy Sixth Form have every reason to celebrate today as our Year 13 students receive their A-Level results, achieving exceptional rates of progress from their starting points.

We are incredibly proud of this year’s cohort, whose hard work, determination and commitment have resulted in outstanding exam results and an impressive range of destinations. Our students achieved a 100% pass rate, with more than 84% securing A*–C grades and 55% achieving A*–B grades across their subjects. These results are well above the regional and national averages for these measures.

We are particularly proud of the achievements of our SEND students, who achieved a 100% A–D pass rate, with 28% securing A*/A grades – again, above the national average for this measure. Their achievements are a fantastic reflection of their resilience, dedication and the support of everyone who has helped them throughout their Sixth Form journey.

With their results secured, our students are now looking ahead to an exciting future, with many heading to some of the UK’s top universities to study an incredible range of subjects. Destinations include courses in Medicine, Natural Science, Mechanical Engineering, Linguistics, Optometry, Civil Engineering, Fashion Journalism and Nuclear Engineering.

We could not be prouder of the Class of 2026. Congratulations to every student – your hard work has paid off, and this is just the beginning!
