Our students recently took part in an important safety session led by Tanya from the Connor Brown Trust, a local charity dedicated to supporting life-saving initiatives. The session focused on Bleed Kits, including where they are located around school and how to use the items inside them effectively.
Tanya also shared practical advice on how everyday items worn by students could be used in an emergency if a bleed kit isn’t immediately available. The workshop aimed to teach students how to reduce blood loss and provide immediate assistance in critical situations, helping to equip them with the knowledge and confidence to potentially save lives.
This session was a valuable reminder of the difference awareness and quick action can make in an emergency.
