17 students took part in a virtual work experience day with Accenture – a global IT company at the cutting edge of advances in Artificial Intelligence and Information Technologies. The Year 12 students involved spent the day learning about the company, who have major offices across the North-East, and the type of work they are developing (or at least, that which isn’t top secret!) The day ended with a number of team challenges lead by Accenture apprentices that taught our students the basics of coding and it’s application to cloud software. The apprentices were also on hand to discuss their experiences of training with Accenture and outline the opportunities available for apprenticeships with the company for our students. All round a very exciting day!
