Stargazing Students

Students recently had the chance to visit the Jodrell Bank Discovery Centre to learn about important research into astro physics and cosmology. The visit included a tour of the facility (operated by the University of Manchester) which included the impressive Lovell Telescope which is the third largest steerable radio telescope in the world!

Humanities Conference

On Wednesday, The Sixth Form welcomed Dr Adrian Green from Durham University and Professor Matt Kelly of Northumbria University to speak at our Sixth Form Humanities Conference. A Snapshot of Success

Last week saw examination moderators assessing the hard work of GCSE and A Level Art & Photography students.  Seeing the completed pieces together for the first time in their showcase really outlined the talent of our budding creatives. Extended Project Launch

On Wednesday we had the first training session for our Extended Project students. They will be choosing a project for themselves and carrying it through to a conclusion.
