Year 12 and Year 13 Engineering students were invited to Sunderland University on the 28th September for National Manufacturing Day. Students visited a series of different workshops throughout the day. The workshops included a 3D printing and scanning, robotics and tested materials to their point of destruction. Students had the chance to patriciate in lectures about the future of sustainable engineering with guest speakers Alice Johnson and Aidan Roche. They also had a tour of the facilities and got the chance to speak to current students.
