There was plenty of passion on show last week as our Year 12 and Year 13 students went head-to-head in what we hope will be the first of many friendly Sixth Form football fixtures.

This was the first time we have been able to establish a football team in the Sixth Form, making the fixture a particularly special occasion. In a closely contested game, Year 12 came away with a 2–1 victory.

Both teams gave their all, with plenty of energy, determination and competitive spirit on display. But just as impressive was the sportsmanship shown throughout the game, with students showing respect for their opponents and celebrating good play on both sides.

It was a fantastic opportunity for our Sixth Form students to compete, have fun and build relationships across the year groups – proving that a little friendly rivalry can go hand in hand with great camaraderie. Congratulations to both year groups for getting the Sixth Form team off to such a positive start!
