Year 11 students were joined by their peers from Sandhill View Academy and other schools across the city for a taste of Sixth Form life with the return of our in-school Sixth Form Transition Days. Students got the chance to try a breadth of A-level subjects including Literature, Art, Sociology, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Health & Social Care, History and Sport.

They also had the opportunity to explore our facilities, meet their peers (one of our largest year groups ever!) and get a taste as the excellent enrichment they can partake in next year as part of our partnership with Sunderland University with have some fun sports and activities at the university’s City Space. We look forward to seeing them again on GCSE results day when they enrol officially with us!
