On Friday afternoon, students in Year 11 who would like to continue studying in the Sixth Form at Southmoor Academy next year, had the opportunity to take part in a range of different taster lessons in each of the subjects that will be available next year. These taster lessons gave students the opportunity to experience what it will be like to study these subjects in the future and to find out more about what will be studied in Years 12 and 13. Students had the chance to ask questions to the specialist Sixth Form teachers of each subject as many students are in the process of applying to study in the Sixth Form. The deadline for applications is Friday 13th December and students can make an application using this link.
