Our Year 12 biologists spent a day at The Centre for Life in Newcastle, widening their scientific experiences.  Students developed their dissection skills using whole organisms; no easy task on the hottest day of the year!  Needless to say, even Miss Maven struggled with lunch afterwards!  Students were then rewarded with a relaxing visit to the planetarium where they learnt about the effects of our solar system on Earth’s organisms.
