Young Physicist Makes His Mark

Congratulations to James Maynard of Year 12 who was nominated as Southmoor Academy’s ‘Physicist of the Year’.  James attended Durham University where he was presented with this prestigious award along with students nominated from other schools in the area.  As well as the presentations, the evening involved viewing exhibits by university undergraduates and a talk by Professor Carlos Frenk.
