Sixth Form Open Evening January 2019

We’re once again delighted to throw open our doors and invite everyone to our last Open Evening of this Academic Year on Wednesday 23rd January at 6pm.

As an institution that sent 9 out of 10 students to university in 2017, to top Universities including Cambridge, UCL, Glasgow’s school of Veterinary Medicine and Durham University, we believe Sixth Form education is all about where you go next. In fact, we’re so committed to ensuring students from across the region access the very best that we are proud to host the North East’s first OxNet hub, part of a national outreach program by Oxford University that puts us at the centre of a new program of raising aspirations across the region – something you can lean more about on the night.

As well as finding out more about us, about OxNet, and having a chat to staff and students, the evening is also a chance to get some fantastic advice on subject choice by talking to universities, apprenticeship providers and the volunteering agencies who will be in attendance and ready give you the best information possible about your route to a top career.

We’re not just for Southmoor & Sandhill View students either! Last year we invited more students than ever from school across the area to join us at the Sixth Form, with many of them finding a welcome home here at Southmoor. We’re open to everyone who wants to be part of Sudnerland’s best performing Sixth Form* and with our shuttle bus service on the way in the near future, that’s becoming easier than ever!

This is your last chance to see what we’re all about before applications close for September, so don’t miss out! After all, who you are tomorrow begins with what you do today. And today, we’d like you to join us.
