The Sixth Form at Southmoor is housed in a dedicated wing of the school, completely refurbished and redesigned for our first intake in September 2014. Sixth formers enjoy their own café, open from 8.00am every morning and manned by our very own team of student Baristas, as well as study areas, a resource room, a computer suite, and classrooms furnished throughout with private study booths. All students have a locker to store their files in, and the newly refurbished toilets are for the exclusive use of Sixth Form students.

Surface Tablets:
Surface tablets are given to each student upon enrolling with The Sixth Form. These are for individual and group study work to aid students in achieving the most from their Sixth Form courses. The Surface tablets run the latest version of Windows and Microsoft Office and works both as a touch screen tablet and as a stand-alone laptop.

For between classes and extracurricular activities, there is now our pristine new bistro style café to enjoy when students have a few moments to themselves. This area is brand new and will be staffed by Sixth Form students who will be fully Barista trained. The café is a fantastic new facility for students, whether they use it for recreation, relaxation or group work over a coffee.

Study Area:
Despite the wide variety of enrichment opportunities, extracurricular options and social activities that will be ongoing over the coming years, students are here predominantly to study. In order to provide the best environment possible to do this, a brand new study area has been fully refurbished and equipped with excellent new PCs and work areas.
